East Coast Cruise on Oceania Cruises Insignia

This voyage by Jeni was a cruise along the East Coast on Oceania Cruises’ Insignia.  This ranks as one of my favorite cruise itineraries, due the combination of ports and the additional relaxing days at sea and on the beach at the end of the itinerary.

Insignia sailed roundtrip out of New York City, and the departure from New York harbor was the most memorable sail away I have ever experienced.  We enjoyed a busy first week on the ship with stops in Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor and Halifax.  Then we sailed for two days to reach the island of Bermuda.  The ship stayed overnight to give us two full days to experience Bermuda, before one final day as sea sailing back to New York City.  This combination of days in port followed by relaxing days at sea was the perfect combination for our friends and family.
