Norwegian Joy is a large resort-style ship, newly remodeled in 2019 specifically to sail in Alaska. A resort ship like Joy is perfect for an intergenerational family group with a wide range of ages. Henry particularly loved Norwegian’s “Splash Academy”, the onboard activity club for kids, while the adults enjoyed the wide range of bars and restaurants.
